- Minos Papas is a Greek filmmaker from the island of Cyprus. Born in London and raised in Cyprus, he was introduced to the filmmaking world at a very early age. His first film, Whispers, won First Prize at the Make-A-Video Competition in Helsinki, Finland. Son of internationally acclaimed film director, Michael Papas (www.michaelpapas.com), Minos is now based in New York City where he writes, directs, shoots and edits films and videos for Cyprian Films New York (www.cyprianfilmsny.com). His most recent short film Kalipolis has been awarded for cinematography and screened in festivals in Europe and the US. He is in the process of completing his first feature film, Shutterbug - and is developing his next script.
